What is the Object of Rotary
The Object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and in particular , to encourage and foster,
FIRST - The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service.
SECOND - High ethical standards in business and professions; the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupation ; and the dignifying by each Rotarian of his occupation as an opportunity to serve society.
THIRD - The application of the ideal of service by every Rotarian to his personal, business and community life.
FOURTH - The advancement of International understanding, goodwill and peace through a world of business and professional men united in the ideal of service.

Where is the Administrative Office of the Club ... ?
The Club has an Independent office at Navjivan Commercial Premises CHS Ltd.,

Allan , Parab and Anil are the stalwarts manning this Office.
The Club Publishes " Mid-Town Musings", a periodical on the clubs events and activities,every fortnight. The Bombay Midtown Rotary Trust was set up in 1969 and is registered with the Charity Commissioner. It is run by a Committee of Trustees comprising PP Adil Kajiji, PP Vishnubhai Haribhakti and PDG Dr. Shirish Sheth and five office bearers of the Club. Donations are entitled too 80-G Benefit as per I T Rules. Separate Accounts are maintained scrupulously and reviewed on a monthly basis.

When does the Club have its Regular Meeting... ?
The Rotary Club of Bombay Mid - Town meets every Wednesday at 1:00 pm at the Taj Hotel, Mumbai. We look forward to meeting Rotarians who are visiting Mumbai , India .We extend to them a very warm welcome.

Like all good things...this site has taken its time to evolve....and with the feedback from many Rotarians in our Club-valuable suggestions and input as well in terms of features, articles, pictures..... it will become a site that truly represents the uniqueness which is "Bombay Mid-Town".
How did it all start. After all I was Chairman for our Environment committee. Planting of trees and a variety of projects appeared useful though mundane. How could I truly "Reach out" to children, teenagers and adults.....Businessmen, Professionals, Industrialists, and even Politicians!....all in one go?.....Reach out to make a difference...TO MAKE THEM AWARE! Aware of Our Environment.......
