"Position Yourself for Success"
8. Long Distance Recruiting: The Big planet Marketing model is duplicated nationwide, so you can build your business locally, nationally, and now internationally! You simply e-mail the host presenter in another city with identifying information regarding your guest(s): Your name, phone number, Big Planet ID# Your Upline Presidential Director/ Blue Diamond's Name (Art Warshaw) Name & Phone number of your guest(s) Ask to have them confirm Meeting Location, Date & Time you have identified As the Inviting Representative, you should stress to your guest the importance of introducing themselves to the Meeting Host/Presenter. It is critical for you to make the Follow-up Call to the PROSPECT (Guest) — NOT the Host — within 24 hours of the presentation.
C) HOW TO INVITE Inviting is the first and most important skill you need to master in order to be successful in this business. The LESS you say during an invite, the better you chance of having your prospect come to a business briefing. Refer to the sample invite script for help. Role play the script with your upline. — Remember, the phone is for inviting, not presenting, the business. Your goal is to create curiosity. Structure of the Invite: Is now a good to speak? Example: "Do you have a second (to talk)?" Limit the duration of the call.. Ex: "Good.... I only have a second myself!"
Are they available on the targeted date? EX: "Are you free Wednesday evening?" If they answer NO, then terminate the conversation immediately; saying only that "I have something (a business idea) to pass by you, but it'll have to wait....I'll get back to you." If YES, then extend the invitation.... Sample Script: Hi, ______, do you have a second? Good, I'm in a hurry as well. Are you free on _________ evening (Saturday morning). Well, I'm working on an Internet business that is really taking off. You have to take a look at this before it's too late. Let's get together at (give location & time) ...know where is? Great.... see you there!
Questions: If you start answering questions, you've already lost. Your time is limited to make calls, so don't contradict your very statement that you are in a hurry by slowing down to answer the very questions that will be answered at the presentation.
Be firm; show conviction, excitement, and genuine pleasure at being able to let your friend in on something "BIG!" They very well may thank you later for NOT allowing them to prejudge. "Tell me more ...." or "What is this?" "It's plugging us into how to make money from the Internet.... and neither of us have an hour to discuss it now on the phone, so doesn't it make sense for us to meet and go over some of the details? But I am excited, and I am certain you will be, too...... see you there? "I have no time....." That's why I'm calling you. We're (They're) looking for people who are busy because people like us get things done! Do you think it might make sense to see the info and then evaluate whether it's worth making the time for? After all, the busier we are, the more important it is to choose carefully how we utilize our time... Right? And if see the time value of this, you'll agree..... Right? See you there? "Good!" I'll be looking forward to seeing you at ___________, at ______PM....
D) How to Place an iPhone with a Customer
In order for a prospect to become your iPhone customer, they will need a Customer (Big) ID #. This number must be written in on their Free iPhone Subscriber Agreement.
To obtain a Customer (Big) ID #: 1. Go to "My Planet" (http://my.bigplanet.com) This can be accessed from your iPhone or from your computer 2. Scroll down to "My Business" login address bars 3. Enter your Big ID # and Password, and click "Login" 4. Click on "Enroll a Customer" 5. Enter the customer's required information, plus YOUR Sponsor ID # 6. Click "Submit Information" 7. Copy down the Customer ID# or, better yet, Print the page 8. Click on "Verify Information", then scroll down and click on "Accept" .....If you do not do this, the information disappears into cyberspace & you will NOT have registered your customer! Have your new customer complete the Free iPhone Subscriber Agreement, making sure that your Sponsor name and Big ID # — as well as their Customer Big ID # both are filled in. FAX this completed form to 1.800.487.3400
IMPORTANT: You must remember also to help your new customer change their Long Distance phone service to Bigplanet/Qwest. This is also done by calling 1.800.211.6300 and asking the operator for the residential Long Distance sign up, or by selecting Option #5 from the menu.
