As Rotarians we both look beyond ourselves and reach within to embrace humanity
as we lead the way to lend a hand to those in need because real happiness is helping others..
As leaders we must reach out to create awareness and take action.
We do what we believe in, we believe in what we do and
we act with integrity, consistency, credibility and continuity
in our personal lives, in our professions and in our communities.
We are reliable, we are available -- and we participate!
Rotary brings hope to the world because we take time to serve.
Mankind is our business and service is our product.
We sow seeds of love to create goodwill and better understanding
as we build the future with action and vision
in our local communities and throughout the world, promoting
SERVICE ABOVE SELF "
We subscribe to OBJECT OF ROTARY
and the
DECLARATION OF ROTARIANS IN BUSINESSES AND PROFESSIONS,
and we expect all Rotarians to live by the tenets of
The Four Way Test of the Things We Think, Say or Do:
First, IS IT THE TRUTH?
Second, IS IT FAIR TO ALL CONCERNED?
Third, WILL IT BUILD GOOD WILL AND BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
Fourth, WILL IT BE BENEFICIAL TO ALL CONCERNED?
Continuing onward from Rotary's Centennial Year in 2005, we CELEBRATE ROTARY by continuing the fine tradition of SERVICE ABOVE SELF to humankind,
knowing that millions of men, women and children, old and young, of every faith and culture, every religion and belief, every political persuasion and economic condition
the world over say of Rotarians: "YOU ARE THE PEOPLE WHO HELP PEOPLE"
