We have received enough material in kind for the relief work which we have distributed to all the affected people. We now plan to rehabilitate the devastated villages and survived people who lost all their belongings.

Our first step in this direction is to provide lowcost shelter to the homeless people. We have already formed a task force committee to look after this endeavour. With the help of experts we have finalised the design of small houses comprising of two rooms and bathroom/toilet. The cost of this works out to be around US$ 1000/house. A small family can very well stay in it comfortably for atleast 5 to 6 years..

This is the urgent need of the hour and your contribution to this cause would be highly appreciated. Please rest assured that each penny of the funds so contributed would be spent appropriately for the needy and suffering people..

Though a good preparation was made for the District Conference, we had to simplify and cut short the programme as the earthquake hit on the same day of the conference. Somehow, we have completed the formalities immediately and rushed to the disaster affected sites for relief work..
