ABOUT ACCT
Rotaract America-Canada-Caribbean-Together Multi District Information Organization (ACCT/MDIO), hereinafter referred to as "ACCT."
ACCT/MDIO provides information to Rotary/Rotaract Districts and clubs and facilitates communication for Rotaract Advisors, educating them on Rotaract and promoting the expansion of Rotaract Clubs through North America, focusing .
ABOUT ROTARACT
Rotaract, a program of Rotary International, is comprised of a group of young professionals and students (ages 18-30) who are committed to making an impact in the community through service, non-profit collaboration and networking events. Rotaract fosters leadership and responsibility, encourages high ethical standards and promotes diversity, international understanding and peace.
PURPOSE OF ACCT*:
Informational Services: The Organization exists for the purpose of disseminating information and facilitating communication between Rotaract Districts and between Clubs in the Districts in the Area to help strengthen Rotaract District structure and individual clubs, to foster membership recruitment, growth and retention, to promote participation in Rotaract activities and to provide support for strong district and regional services to clubs.
Training: Provide training for incoming District Rotaract Representatives in accordance with the policies of Rotary International.
Representation: Represent the Rotaract Districts and Clubs in the United States, Canada and the Caribbean. Districts that are multinational will determine eligibility for representation by their national location.
Professional Development: Promote the individual personal skills and abilities of all Rotaractors to become more professionally competent in their chosen professions and to enhance their career opportunities.
Community Service: Collect and disseminate information to districts and clubs regarding community service activities throughout the Area, and to foster cooperation on community service activities between and within clubs.
International Service: Collect and disseminate information to districts and clubs regarding international service activities throughout the world and particularly throughout the Area, and to foster cooperation on international service activities and Rotary Foundation projects between clubs and districts with the goal of promoting international understanding, goodwill and cultural awareness.
